Get Reviewed by the LookSee Talent Team

After you've completed your profile, it will go through two stages of review with the LookSee Talent Team before your profile is made visible to the EROAD Team – the first review is a look at your profile to see if you’re generally the right fit, and the second review includes an additional questionnaire and optional profile video to get some final details.

You'll be notified by email regarding the outcome of each review, but please note that due to high volumes we will not be able to provide individual feedback if you are unsuccessful.

Get Presented to the EROAD Team

If our Talent Team think you make a good match for a role, you'll be published in the LookSee EROAD group and we'll personally present your profile to the EROAD Team for review. They will take a look your LookSee profile, CV and questionnaire to establish your suitability to see if you’re generally the right fit.

Testing

If the EROAD Team think you could be right for a role, they'll invite you to do an online skills test.

Video Interview

If you pass the testing stage, the EROAD Team will schedule a remote video interview with the hiring manager. Please note that you will also have to do live coding if it's relevant to the role.

Final Interview

Following the first interview, you'll have another interview with the senior leadership team at EROAD.

Final Checks and Offer

If all goes well, you'll be asked to provide at least two referees for reference checking, and evidence of qualifications. You may also be asked to agree to a background check, including a police and credit history check. After that, if everything checks out EROAD will contact you with a job offer!

All successful candidates will receive $6,000 NZD to contribute towards relocation.

Senior Software Developer

You will have an in-depth understanding of web technologies, end-to-end systems, development methodologies and standards. Ideally, you'll have a successful track record in designing and building well-architected, highly available, scalable and cloud-based applications. You’ll also have a good understanding, and preferably experience, of continuous integration and delivery.

  • Five+ years' experience as a software developer, with at least two years’ Java
  • Competent in designing and developing software within a micro services framework using RESTful APIs (Swagger), JMS and RDBMS data services (Postgres)
  • Proven AWS experience (EC2, Lambdas, API Gateway)
  • Experience with REST services using JSON and XML
  • Knowledge of common design patterns and when/how to use them
  • Web application framework (Spring MVC)
  • Automated Unit testing design and implementation experience e.g. Junit, TestNG, Mockito
  • Familiarity with web/application servers, ideally Tomcat or Glassfish
  • Experience in developing with version control system (e.g. Git)
  • Experience in developing with JavaScript/ReactJs is preferred
  • Familiarity with Redux is preferred

Solutions Architect

Due to continued growth EROAD is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect. In this position you will take architectural ownership of multiple application and integration projects against strategic business initiatives with support from the CTO, VP Product, program manager and wider product, design and engineering group. You will be confident in solutioning across cloud technologies, mobile, analytics, IoT and partner integrations.

You will be competent in translating business requirements and processes into technical solutions, developing and architecting an overall system vision, and transforming the vision through execution in multiple teams into a production solution.

You will have a successful track record of delivering high scale SaaS solutions. You will have solid experience with solution architecture, information and domain modelling, public API design, integration, mobile and IoT solutions. You will understand what it takes to compete globally at speed using cloud technology, CI/CD, security and privacy by design along with long term solutions that manage technical debt.

UX Designer

As a UX Designer you will craft digital experiences that are useful, usable and delightful for the customer, through applying systematic design strategies. You will work closely with our product managers to better understand the problems that EROAD’s customers need to solve. Through user research, you will articulate precisely our customers jobs to be done and propose designs that help our customers succeed.

As a member of the UX team you will be working on a number of campaigns and initiatives for our clients.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Supporting the product managers in the development of product vision by conducting user research and prioritising our customers pain points.
  • Use metrics driven design thinking to look at our current user patterns and identify areas for product improvements and potential new offering.
  • Understand EROAD’s customers and their needs. Use suitable user research techniques e.g. user interviews, on site observation, surveys and evaluate user feedback.
  • Partner with the UX team to develop customer centred user journeys.
  • Work with Product Managers and cross functional teams to identify possible design solutions through workshops and collaborative design sessions.
  • Engage in day-to-day activities with the Engineering Teams. This involves attending daily scrums as required and providing UX direction and education.
  • Promote user centred design and a consistent UX across all of EROAD product offerings.
  • Transform complex design challenges into easy-to-use, delightful experiences. Simplicity is key!
